Local members of the building trade and DIY enthusiasts alike can now gain from the opening of a brand new builders’ merchants’ facility in Aylesbury.
Grant & Stone, one of the best established independent supplier names in the Home Counties, has opened the doors of a new builders’ merchants at 72–80 Stocklake in the town. The new store takes over the site of a former petrol station and car showroom which will be known to many throughout Aylesbury and the surrounding area.
“We are delighted that we have been able to strengthen our presence in Aylesbury with the opening now of our 16th trading branch,” comments Darren House, Grant & Stone’s Design and Marketing Manager. “We already have well-established plumbing and bathroom showroom outlets in the town and, by adding this further facility, we believe that both our trade and retail customers across Aylesbury and the local area will now be able to benefit from our broader range of services. The name of Grant & Stone is synonymous with product choice – which we believe is vital if our customers are able to find everything they need ‘off the shelf’ and drive away with their requirements fully met – and this is fully reflected in the new premises.”
A total of (figure?) sq. ft. of display and retail space is available at the site which provides excellent scope to demonstrate the company’s commitment to choice and availability. “We are fully aware that both the tradesman and the enthusiastic DIY customer are looking for the optimum combination of products and expert advice – both factors that have underpinned Grant & Stone’s growth over the last 25 years,” adds Paddy Ford, Aylesbury Branch Manager, “and this is one of our key objectives here.
“We are confident that the decision to open the new facility will match increasing demand in the Aylesbury region, and goes a long way towards demonstrating our continuing belief in, and commitment to, the local building and DIY market sectors,” he continues.
The new Grant & Stone store is now fully opened to both the trade and the public between the hours of 7.30am to 5.15 Monday to Friday and 8am till noon on Saturdays.
