At Grant & Stone we are dedicated to helping our local community, from providing high quality products to members of the trade to supporting members of the community achieve their dreams and goals.
As part of this, our Bicester Plumbers Merchants recently helped to support Fayth Buckley, a local gymnast in a competition overseas by providing her training kit and helping with her fees to enter the 2018 USAIGC-IAIGC World Championships.
Fayth started practicing gymnastics at the age of 4 years old at her local sports center and by the age of 7 she had joined the Bicester and District Gymnasts Club. In 2016 she made their squad and started training 7 hours a week before competing in a selection of small competitions.
In the yast year, her gymnastics club moved from British Gymnastics to UK Gymnastics where she successfully took part in qualifiers for the 2018 USAIGC-IAIGC World Championships in Orlando, Florida. As one of five participants from the Bicester and District club, she achieved some incredible results securing a fifth place finish in the vault and eleventh in the All-Round championship for ages 13-17.
Now aged 13 Fayth trains harder than ever before, showcasing a dedication to training and love of gymnastics that inspired all of us at Grant & Stone to help in her take part in achieving her dreams.
She is now preparing to compete in the 1st qualifiers next month ready for Worlds again next year and she is without doubt a very talented gymnast and everyone at Grant & Stone will be wishing her all the success in the coming years.
