Bathroom Designer/Sales

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bathroom Designer to join our team based in Maidenhead & Amersham Showrooms.

In this role, you will be helping customers with orders and enquiries and will be asked to assist in the design of their dream bathroom by using CAD. 

You will need to take a proactive approach to sales, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience.

Kitchen Designer & Sales

We are looking for a kitchen designer with CAD and sales experience, preferably with a kitchen furniture supplier.

Day to day activities will include:

  • Meeting customers in-store or on site
  • Conducting site visits to obtain measurements
  • Designing and planning kitchens which combine practicality and good looks
  • Following through the whole design process from initial meeting to ordering goods and arranging deliveries
  • Working as part of a close knit team
  • Using own initiative to manage workloads and hit individual/overall branch targets.

Yard Person

We are looking for a Yard person for our High Wycombe Timber Branch.

The role requires friendly, customer focused candidates with some experience of working in a Timber yard. Candidates should be comfortable working in an outdoor environment, numerate and literate. Duties include the loading and unloading of deliveries either manually or with a forklift. Keeping the yard organised and clean also plays a large part of this role. Other general yard duties, including assistance at the periodical stock takes would also be required.

 You must be able to work well under pressure and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Human Resources Officer

Due to the relocation of a valued member of staff, we are now searching for a proactive and highly organised HR Officer to join our friendly, customer-focused team based in High Wycombe.  

In this role, you will advise managers in all aspects of the employee lifecycle to ensure activities are legally compliant, reflective of the company culture and conducive to business performance. Reporting to the Senior HR Officer but capable of using your own initiative your main duties will be as follows:

  • Oversee recruitment undertaken by the company and aiding managers and the internal recruiter as required. 
  • Collaborate with directors and managers to assess current training needs, suitability of current schemes and apprenticeships and liaise with external providers and organise training events as appropriate. 
  • Deliver insightful inductions to all new members of staff and lead internal training sessions for newly promoted managers. 
  • Advise and guide managers, directors and employees in all aspects of employee relations from performance and capability to absence management, disciplinaries, grievances and restructuring. 
  • Provide analytical insights and reports on all manner of employee activity, including absences, holidays, rewards, performance and retention, providing commercially sound and pragmatic recommendations on request. 
  • Review and administrate employee benefits including managing joiners, leavers and queries relating to pensions, medical insurance and incentive programs. 
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in employment law and best practice, informing senior management of relevant changes and attending events or training as needed.
  • Draft, review and implement company policies and procedures 
  • Administrate and accurately maintain all manner of personnel records including those associated with recruitment, new starters, rewards and benefits, transfers, performance management, all types of leave and training.
  • Issue employment documentation, references, letters and contracts. 

Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of general HR experience and demonstrable understanding of employment law. Within this busy and small team, you will also need to be flexible, well organised and great with details as you will be dealing with a variety of tasks with competing priorities. 

As a company, we will also need you to have excellent communication skills and commercial awareness so that you can convey complex information to all manner of people in a way that is both easy to understand and relevant. 

This role involves working with Sage Cloud 50 and Excel, computer literacy is therefore essential.

Internal Sales Person

We are looking for an Internal Sales Assistant, for our Oxford Electrical Branch. As a company, we aim to establish superb customer relationships by presenting reliable, knowledgeable staff with service as their first priority and the Internal Sales team is no exception. In this role, you will be responsible for helping our customers with price enquiries, quotations, technical queries and orders over the phone, via email and occasionally in person.

Experience in a similar role together with a knowledge of electrical products would be an advantage.

Trade Counter/Warehouse Assistant


We are seeking a Trade Counter/Warehouse Assistant for our Amersham Plumbing Branch.

This role requires a friendly, customer focused person to deal with the orders and sales enquiries received by existing and potential customers in person and over the phone.

You will also be required to take on warehouse duties. This would involve assisting suppliers and colleagues with deliveries into the warehouse, organising, picking and looking after goods.

As a company we aim to establish superb customer relationships by presenting reliable, knowledgeable staff with service as their first priority.

Previous experience within a Plumbing Merchant would be an advantage, but training will be provided.

You will be a key member of our team mainly responsible for assisting suppliers with deliveries, organising and looking after the goods, and for assisting members of staff with the moving of goods from the warehouse. On the Trade counter you will be required to deliver excellent customer service whilst assistant customers with their purchases and enquiry's.

Temporary Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our busy Accounts department. This is a temporary full time position for 3 months.

The main duties are as follows:

·Reconciliation of cash and credit card sales to bank statements.

·Analysis and posting of cash book entries and assisting in bank reconciliations.

·Investigating and resolving queries arising from reconciliations.

·Assisting in maintaining purchase ledger for items not for re-sale.

·General accounting and book-keeping assistance as necessary.

Experience with Kerridge would be an advantage.
