Twyford now produces vitreous china at its head office which is based in a village called Alsager which is just outside Stoke-on-Trent on the Staffordshire / Cheshire border, England. The company moved here in 1956 having outgrown the original factory site in the heart of the City of Stoke.
The head office and vitreous china factory stands in 70 acres with ultra modern manufacturing, warehousing and office facilities. Twyford Bathrooms is the major employer in the area. Not far from the village is the flat countryside of Cheshire. To the north is the Roman City of Chester. To the south is the industrial heartland of "the Black Country" - birthplace of the industrial revolution.
