The off the wall Quartz is so simple to install it can take as little as
two hours. With only four screws fixing the complete system to the wall,
it can be installed without any damage to tiling or decor. This
dramatically reduces installation costs. The shower head height adjuster
rail, which also carries the blended water, passes through a small hole
in the ceiling which is then finished with a neat cover plate.

How Quartz works
At the heart of the Quartz is a 'remote' processor, which replaces
the traditional valve and pump usually installed on or behind the
bathroom wall. The processor can be positioned just about anywhere -
hidden under the bath, in the loft space or in the airing cupboard - it
is simply connected to the control by a low voltage data cable. The
processor blends the water and delivers it via a single pipe to the
shower head.
Quartz will operate with the majority of UK domestic hot water systems
including gravity (with or without a separate pump), combination boilers
and high pressure units. For gravity systems we recommend the Quartz
pumped shower which provides the option of two flow rates.
